Tracy Cruz

Born in Quezon City on the island of Luzon in the Philippines, award-winning music artist Tracy Cruz's alluring voice is comprised of sounds old and new, resembling Jill Scott's throaty moans and Sarah Vaughan's lyrical accentuation, all while still managing to remain distinct. With a vocal range that stretches from unbelievable lows to soprano highs, Tracy pulls from her thriving passion of Filipino ballads.

Tracy has released an EP "Illuminate Love" and two full-length albums "Feel'osophy" & "Universoul Symphony". She has opened up for and shared the stage with Kenny Lattimore, Apl. de Ap of the Black Eyed Peas, Christopher Williams, Keke Wyatt, Miki Howard, Chrisette Michele, Noel Gourdin, L. Young, Kanetic Source (former emcee of Ozomatli), American Idol finalist Deandre Brackensick, Sy Smith, Mark de Clive-Lowe, Latoya London, Slim of 112, Martin Luther, Jaguar Wright, Zion I, and more. Tracy has accumulated national recognition with her album "Feel'osophy" including three Muse's Muse Awards for “Best R&B CD Project of 2008”, “Best Lyrics (female)”, and “Best R&B Single (Female).” Her sophomore album "Universoul Symphony" was on the UK Soul Chart for 14 weeks, Danceteria's Phat 50 Chart (Netherlands) for 12 weeks and DJ Sly's (Bang Radio 103.6 FM) Full Top 30 Chart for 12 weeks.
