CB Richard Ellis and Oakland City Center Kick Off 2011 Holiday Season with Food Drive
CB Richard Ellis and Oakland City Center Host Holiday Food Drive to Help Feed the Hungry
OAKLAND,CA, November 3, 2011 – November ushers in the season of giving, and CB Richard Ellis is thrilled to announce an Oakland City Center-wide food drive in partnership with Alameda County Community Food Bank. From November 7 to November 25, CB Richard Ellis will lead the charge in helping its tenants and the Oakland City Center community bring canned and dried food to local families in need.
Donation barrels will be prominently placed in the lobby of each OCC office building, making donation drop offs convenient and easy. Any donation is welcome and appreciated!
Donation locations include:
- 555 12th Street
- 1300 Clay Street
- 1111 Broadway
- 505 14th Street
Since 1985, Alameda County Community Food Bank (ACCFB) has worked tirelessly to provide millions of pounds of food to after-school programs, shelters, soup kitchens and countless non-profit organizations. Over 49,000 needy children and adults are served by the ACCFB every week, but they still rely heavily on the generosity of the community for support. “We are so excited to team up with ACCFB,” said Kathy Claussen, General Manager and Director of CBRE. “They do great work for the area, and it’s our pleasure to help make the Holidays brighter for those in need.”
